This lecture class (with a 20-minute practice of Suryanamaskar) will introduce the Trishtana, or the three main focal points of the Ashtanga practice. Through consistent practice, Asana purifies the body, vinyasa breathing system purifies the nerves, and Drishti purifies the mind. Look through the lense of this tradition to learn how the traditional sequences of asanas are taught, one-by-one, to provide therapy and purification for the body and nervous system.
