Kripalu Ayurvedic Cooking Classes Online: Cooking Foods for Fall Detox


An Online cooking series with Kate this October! Thursday evenings Oct 8, 15, and 22 from 4:30-6.

This program is for anyone interested in learning about Ayurvedic cooking, and the Ayurveda perspective on the transition from summer diet to fall diet. You will receive a shopping list and all recipes before the program begins, and are invited to join Kate O’Donnell, the author three Ayurveda cookbooks, in her home kitchen to prepare foods for fall, and understand the balance of detoxification and nourishment that is appropriate for the fall season. 

Week 1: Detoxifying Staples: Basic pantry ingredients, produce, and spices that both detoxify and nourish the body, and how to use them.

Week 2: Lunch/Dinner Meals: Learn to make dishes that are ideal for midday and evening fare, as well as the importance of enjoying certain foods at certain times.

Week 3: Fall Favorites: Learn about breakfast options, and a versatile Ayurvedic treat recipe.
