Summer Cooking Series with Kripalu Online


Join me in my zoom kitchen and cook alongside! This online program is for anyone interested in learning about how to utilize and prepare foods which balance heat from the Ayurvedic perspective. Summer is naturally the time to enjoy more bitter, astringent, naturally sweet and refreshing foods to assist the body in managing rising temperatures. Enjoying an Ayurveda summer diet can assist in keeping skin healthy and clear, calming acid indigestion, and reducing inflammation. Participants will receive a shopping list and all recipes before the program begins, and are invited to join Kate O’Donnell, the author of three Everyday Ayurveda Cookbooks, in her home kitchen to learn ways to prepare a bounty of summer fruits and vegetables, light yet satisfying grain and legume dishes, easy soups and refreshing drinks- even a summer mocktail!

Meets 2 Wednesdays, July 21st and 28th, 4-6PM EST. Recordings available for 30 days.
